Assign Authorization

Assignment Questions

Partitioning and Disaggregation

Select Yes or No from the pull-down menu to indicate whether or not the application involves either partitioning of geographic area and/or disaggregation of spectrum held on a geographic area license of a market-based authorization.

The Partitioning and Disaggregation question is the first question asked and must be answered by the Assignor in all Assignment applications.

The answer to this question and the answer to the Full/Partial Assignment question determine the flow of the assignment application.

If the answer to the Partitioning and Disaggregation question is 'Yes', then all Call Sign assignments listed on the application must be assignments by partition, disaggregation, or by a combination of partition and disaggregation (no full assignments and no partial assignments).

If the answer to the Partitioning and Disaggregation question is 'No' and Partial Assignment is indicated, then all Call Sign assignments listed on the application must be location, path, or frequency level assignments (no partitioning, no disaggregation and no full assignments).

If the answer to the Partitioning and Disaggregation question is 'No' and Full Assignment is indicated, then all Call Sign assignments listed on the application must be full assignments and assigned at the call sign level (the entire license is assigned), (no partitioning, no disaggregation, and no partial assignments).

Note: Once this question has been answered and Continue is selected, the answer cannot be changed. It can be re-accessed from the Summary page as 'View', but not as 'Edit'. If the question was answered incorrectly, the application must be deleted and restarted.

Click Continue.
