This page is only displayed if the Partition/Disaggregation Type on the previous page is marked as a Partition or a combination of Partition AND Disaggregation. This page is used to designate the partition as a partition by a defined area or as a partition by an undefined area. In a partition by defined area, the applicant partitions by FCC approved defined market areas. In a partition by undefined area, the applicant partitions by supplying coordinates that define the partitioned area. If the partition is by defined area, the applicant is next taken to a page where they select the defined areas to be partitioned. If the partition is by undefined area, the applicant is next taken to a page where they can enter or upload the coordinates to be partitioned.
The call sign, radio service code and description, market area and description, and channel block are displayed at the top of the page.
Choose the type of area to be partitioned. Select "defined" to assign a defined geographic area (e.g., BTA, county). Select "undefined" to assign an undefined geographic area (i.e., you will provide latitude and longitude coordinates for the area)
