The questions on this page are used to determine whether the license to be assigned or the license held by a licensee who is to be transferred was originally awarded following an FCC auction where the original licensee or prior assignee obtained installment payments, bidding credits, or was otherwise subject to special provisions applicable to entrepreneurs, small businesses, or rural telephone companies.
If the answer is "Yes" to any of these questions, you will be directed to follow-up questions.
For assignments of authorization, the follow-up questions establish whether the assignee is eligible for the same special provisions as the assignor, or whether unjust enrichment provisions or other restrictions apply.
For transfers of control, the follow-up questions establish whether the transfer, if approved, will affect the eligibility of the licensee for special provisions associated with the license prior to the transfer.
