Assign Authorization

Partitioning and Disaggregation Information

Coverage Requirements

This Coverage Requirements page is only displayed for call signs that are partitioned, disaggregated or combination partitioned and disaggregated. This page is dynamically created, and where applicable, coverage requirements are collected for each call sign in the assignment application. If the call sign that is being assigned has met its license level build out requirements (or there are not any license level build out requirements), then the collection of coverage requirements is not required, regardless of the type of assignment. If the call sign that is being assigned has not met its license level build out requirements, then coverage requirements are collected. The type of coverage requirements collected correlates with the type of assignment. If the call sign is partitioned or partitioned and disaggregated, then Partitioning Coverage Requirements are collected. If the call sign is disaggregated, then Disaggregation Coverage Requirements are collected.

Indicate on this page who will meet construction requirements for each license that is partitioned and/or disaggregated.

Wireless licensees in geographically licensed services are required to provide service covering a specified portion of the licensing area within a specified time after the license grant date (the coverage period). Typically, the portion of the licensing area that must be covered is defined in terms of population, though other criteria may be used instead of or in addition to population. If the licensee fails to provide coverage within the coverage period, and does not receive an extension of time, the license automatically terminates.

For each license that is partitioned, select one of the following:
